Since the last post I have read quite a few books. Since I am in a few hours going to the country to visit my cousins, I will have time to write down my reviews. Check in, in a few days and they should be up!
I actually loved all of the books, so beware for happy posts.
The books are:
Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan (they wrote every other chapter.)
Girl at sea by Maureen Johnson.
A great and terrible beauty by Libba Bray. (I've read lot about her on various Nerdfighter sites, and I finally got a chance to read her work.)
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen. (Absolutely loved her.)
I actually had three more Sarah Dessen books reserved at my local library, but I have to take a train tomorrow at 12.21 and they don't open until twelve. I am slightly doomed.
Hopefully a friend of mine will pick them up, so I can read them when I get back.
Soon to be read:
Pride and prejudice - Jane Austen
Catching Fire - Suzanne Collins
Looking for Alaska, Paper Towns and An abundance of Katherine's - John Green. (I am using these novels for my Extended Essay.)
Wuthering Heights - Charlottle Brontë.
I think that was all..
New post will be up soon, my friends!
Updates coming soon!

Wishful Drinking - Carrie Fisher

When you think of Carrie Fisher, the first image that pops into your (and every teenage boy's head) is the one of her in the metal bikini from our favorite trilogy. If you do not know what I am talking about, please turn off your browser and go watch the Star Wars movies before ever contacting me again.

But that was quite a while ago, and now this person, Carrie Fisher, is someone who has been through a lot, and she is very open with everything. She's gone through numerous addictions, an odd number of scandals and she has published novels and non-fiction works.
As I was walking through the library yesterday, on my way to write a lab report/play lego Batman, I noticed Carrie's name on a book. Personally I hate a lot of the Swedish libraries because of their lac of English books, but sometimes they surprise me. And in this case, I was almost jumping with joy.
Of course I have always loved Carrie as Leia, but in the later years I have also discovered this lovely, maybe a bit battered, but still wonderful person that is Carrie Fisher. I've been following her Twitter for quite some time now, and she always makes me laugh. The topic might be serious, but the woman is so amazing, and she has a very different view of the world.
Now maybe I should return to talk about the book, this is after all where I read and review.
Carrie has a wonderful language. If I hadn't been sneak-reading during a maths class, I would have been laughing out loud the entire time. I kept poking my friend Ellen to read a quote from the novel, or just to show her a picture. I couldn't, honestly, stop reading. Starting on the already late bus, I kept reading during the first lesson, during lunch, and then finished it during maths.
And now I wish I hadn't returned it to the library so I could read it again.
She told a story of her mother, her father, all the scandals, drugs, alcohol and everything in between. I don't want to give away too much, for this is a book you should all read. She is so, I don't know.. It's like she can tell you about all the bad things in her life with a big smile on her face. She can took at it with humor, and laugh.
I don't now how many times I have said it already, but she is amazing. She seems so strong. To have been beaten down a million times, and yet she has risen. She is standing, and she is brilliant.
